The Jewish Astrolabes Project

Posted by Josefina Rodríguez Arribas

We are officially inaugurating the blog of the Jewish Astrolabes Project with the poster of the exhibition that is taken place at the Warburg Institute (University of London) until January 7th 2013. This exhibition displays the components of any astrolabe and the relations between the astrolabes with Jewish inscriptions and the Hebrew manuscripts describing these instruments between the 13th and 19th centuries.
